Desiree Cart Dugas
My name is Desiree Cart Dugas. I was born and raised in Rayne, Louisiana. I lived in Baton Rouge and Gonzales for five years and now I’ve been living in Prairieville Louisiana for ten years. I sew, crochet, and I just wrote my first book, which is called “I Curse God but, he Listened Anyway”. I find the art of sewing and crocheting very soothing to the soul. I would also like to recommend people to write down their life story before they are forgotten. I was a non writer but, managed to write a book. I took a class here at Louisiana Art Association on book writing. I love to go to art shows, craft shows, and sewing expo’s. I can teach the art of crochet to anyone and explain the process of writing a book. You can find my book at the Book Rack or through me right now.
